The Lightest Form of Flogging is a terrible podcast in which a casserole-loving baptist and a stodgy Presbyterian try to understand how they got to be the way they are.

The Lightest Form of Flogging

A podcast in which a stodgy Presbyterian and a casserole loving baptist discuss just how they got to be the way they are.

It’s not a theology podcast. It’s so much worse.

42: Put the Bat Down

In this episode, David steals someone’s dog and helps Jim get passionate about recording the show. After this, Jim gives David a custom-made empathy quiz. Bill Hasinger answers several questions, we discuss some of Adelle’s worship songs, and Phoenix, AZ rises from the ashes.

For our main topic, as promised in some past episode, Jim attempts to teach David the sacred art of caring. We dive deep into David’s psyche and try to understand why David is perceived the way he’s perceived. And after an impassioned rant from David, for the first time in 37 years, Jim feels like David cares about him.
